Does Germany Really Love David Hasselhoff?

David Hasselhoff says he deserves some credit for the fall of the Berlin Wall /ImageNet

I thought Germany loved David Hasselhoff. This has put my mind at ease on those sad nights I have spent hugging my pillow and wondering we don't see more of David in the U.S.

I found out today that Germany does not pay David the respect he deserves. In 1989, the year the wall fell in Berlin, David sang his song "Looking for Freedom" to millions of fans at the Brandenburg Gate. Yet, his photo is found nowhere inside the Berlin Museum at Check-Point Charlie! (read more here: Hasselhoff claims he had hand in Berlin Wall falling)

Don't they realize that this single event not only reunited all Germans, but also united the human race! Is there no justice in this world?

Dave (I hope you don't mind if I call you Dave), you will someday be recognized for your great contributions. I don't think its a coincidence that you played a lifeguard in Baywatch. Your songs and acting save us all from the riptides of life.

(Faux) Chicken Pot Chicken Pot Chicken Pot Pie

Looking for a good, cheap place to find veggie food on the east side? Try Portland Adventist Hospital's cafeteria - the Garden Cafe. For $1.60, we got a delicious Veggie Reuben Sandwich from the grill. The grill also has faux clubs, BLT's, burgers, etc. There is a deli sandwich bar with faux meats, the hot plates that day included sweet and sour "chicken", and the soup was a delicious potato leek for only $1.10 a bowl! Cheap and nummy. Get a bone scan and some lunch!

Alphabet Porn

So Owen got an Alphabet Pal by Leap Frog for Christmas. It has 26 legs and each leg is a letter. You can do many thing with it, including pressing the letter and hearing it phonetically. So if you press "B", it says "buh". Press "D", it says "duh". With me so far? So a friend that saw we had it said "try typing in a bad word". So I type out "eff" "you" "see".... well when I press the c to spell out fuck, it giggles and says "that tickles!". I tried many more swear or naughty words, to the same result (ass and sex for example). Too funny!
