For those of you outside of Portland, or France, you may not know Pink Martini. Now is your chance. Set your tivo for early wednesday morning (although technically tuesday night in tv land) and catch Pink Martini on The Late Show with Conan O'Brien.

Beware, escapees from the bathroom. Yep, pee and poo are here to play! When you tire of playing with the plush toys, you can still get your pee and poo fix with a nice pair of undies (kids or ladies), a t shirt, socks, or temporary tattoos. Don't forget to surprise your house guests or cubicle neighbors with the "shock and awe" wallpaper, or wind down at the end of the day with a nice game of pee&poo memory.

I saw this in the recent Utne magazine... these are globes/art/political commentary that show all sorts of things. It is called Worldprocessor, and you can go through all the different globes created... some are really beautiful. Ones I liked include: comprehensive guide to the world, tropics, mountains of debt, nameless places, local conditions, satellite blind spots, Jam 2000: 72x Around the World, Company vs. Country, and forest fires.

Is this not the oddest tattoo?

I was always terrible at making cut snowflakes. Now, I can practice without cramping my hand!
